Ari Bird is here!

Lovely lady.
At the mediterranean.
We had a major photo shoot at 5 am. This is one of many.
A ballerina at heart.
Then, I had my first club experience, which was pretty ridiculous, but fun because we just danced our little hearts out.
Ari Bird is here! My dearest friend made the trip across the pond and we've been having a simply marvelous time. We got some tattoos... it was rad.

Las Fallas: Valencia.

And the incineration begins! (finally!)

RAD street art.

Another one... again, all of these were eventually burned.

A view of Valencia from the top.

I don't really have words for this one. Utterly ridiculous is the best I can come up with at this point in time.

Unfortunately, most of the buildings in Valencia resemble the ones in this photo. Not the most beautiful of cities, but glad I saw it nonetheless.

Kitten! Poor thing was getting chased by this horrible little girl, but that got old fast.

Atrium.

The park had a lot of bird life. Including these amazing black swans (that I could not get a good picture of), which is something I had never seen before (actually, I didn't even know that black swans existed).

Like I said, way too much fun.

We spent a lot of the day in a huge park that seemed to never end. It was pretty amazing. Then, we found this tree and had way to much fun sitting all of 8 feet above the ground.

Lunch
Not too stoked on having her picture taken, but oh well.

Costumed and ready to go. So, the reason we went to Valencia is because at the end of March every year they hold a festival called Las Fallas where the city basically burns a bunch of wooden sculptures (I was told there were 300) in celebration of St. Joseph. There are also parades and other forms of merriment, which is why these ladies are all dressed up.

Jordan and Katie! Hour 1 of 12 in Valencia. It was a little rainy when we first arrived, but luckily it stopped, and the fun continued without added dampness.

The last few days...

Us again, at the Pavilion.

Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona Pavilion (see other blog for more on this).

Me and my lovely mother at Park Ciutadella.

My wonderful Grammy Bev sent me all of these delicious cookies for my B-day... then I spilled them on my bed while trying to photograph them, but none were lost!

Snow! This is the view out my back window.... so beautiful!
